DRAINED SCORN came into being in 2004.  After some experiments with trance and hardcore, Mr. Lagash (mastermind beside the project) started to focus more in the creation of intense industrial music, presenting a weird mixture of styles, and giving shape to a brutal and violent sound.

Work on this album began in June 2006, but hit a hiatus in May 2007, when progress and production stopped due to the different occupations of the various band members.  Later in 2007, things started running again, with fresh ideas and a very brutal sentiment, prepared to be screamed along with the songs.  Many changes were made to the album concept, and the initial tracklisting modified with the addition of some songs and the removal of others.  One such additions, "Stick It to Your Brain", features vocal contributions from Porno Grindcore singer KBZA, giving life to one of the most violent songs ever.  And now, in 2009, everything is finally aligned to make the fist strike of pure hate at the hands of Advoxya Records.lekktor and Sublagrimal.
