Happy Halloween, and welcome again to our weekly round-up of forthcoming releases.
Again, this has been a week for releases from some big
names from the past and an otherwise eclectic mix.
On the verge of celebrating 20 years is Plastic Noise
Experience, with legendary German artist Claus Kruse delivering his 7th album, some 4 years after his last successful studio effort "Maschinenmusik".
PNE unleashes 10 straight kick-ass new songs in the purest of old school electronic style, with fat bass lines,
impulsive beats, noise attitude and 'less is more' melodic lines. The limited edition (500 copies only) box set of the album offers the exclusive hard
elektro "Select and Destroy" 5-track EP, plus the much-in-demand (and unreleased) recordings from Claus Kruse's project Sonic Unit, a unique wave system with outstanding frequency results.
Next up, we have Leaether
Strip, with the second volume of the "Retention" box series, through which Claus Larsen is re-releasing his complete back-catalogue. Each re-release
has both the fully remastered version of the original album (with special bonus material) on disc one and on the second disc a totally rewritten and
reinterpreted rendition of selected songs from the original album using current
technologies.
Another hot release this week comes from Massiv in Mensch, who, after four studio albums,
several digital-only singles, and a contribution to Artoffact's Uturn series, turn up the heat on "Meanwhile Back in
the Jungle", their fifth and wildest release to date. This German industrial/synthpop band offers up the spanking the industrial scene needs so badly!
Now on to Heimataerde, who have in a very short time managed to establish themselves as one of the leading
scene artists of modern times. The new and exclusive single release "Vater" is another masterpiece, truly unique and one of their strongest releases to
date.
We're very pleased this week to offer two releases direct from self-distributed artist James D.
Stark. "Moonstruck" is a remix CD of songs from "Music of the Night", by artists from around the globe including Beborn
Beton, Iris, & Hajas, and also two original tracks, whilst the "Hell"
MCD features remixes and 3 exclusive original tracks.
Now on to a series of re-releases and re-issues. Goldfrapp's "Seventh Tree Tour Edition" is a special edition of their 2008 release, which includes the complete original album, plus a bonus
DVD that contains tracks filmed live earlier this year and backstage footage. The DVD also features the fantastic videos for hit singles 'A&E', 'Happiness'
and 'Caravan Girl' as well as live performances of 'Clowns' and 'Road to Somewhere' from a TV special on Goldfrapp.
The "Best of Bowie / Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (The Motion Picture Soundtrack)" is a 2CD & DVD release
featuring remastered favourites that are guaranteed to keep Bowie fans happy.
The Duran Duran "Classic Albums: Rio" DVD tells the story behind the writing, recording and subsequent success of the album through newly
filmed interviews, musical demonstrations and both new and archive performances. It features excerpts from: Rio, My Own Way, Hungry Like The Wolf, New
Religion, Save A Prayer, and The Chauffeur, with brand new session performances filmed in Boston especially for this DVD as well.
There are also
three re-issues for Marc Almond, in the shape of both Marc and the Mambas
albums and the solo album "Vermin in Ermine".
To complete this week's highlights we now have a few copies of Faderhead's FH1 and FH2 back in stock. The latter title has been deleted so this may be your last chance to get it while you can.
As it's Halloween we thought we'd remind you of the doubly-rich
and delicious ant-shaped cookie from Ant-Zen.
Review
On the verge of celebrating 20 years of a steady and uncompromised PLASTIC NOISE EXPERIENCE, legendary German artist Claus Kruse delivers his 7th
album, some 4 years after his last successful studio effort "Maschinenmusik" which was followed by the fully re-recorded best-of release "Dead Or Alive" in
2006. PNE unleashes 10 straight kick-ass new songs in the purest of old school electronic style. Fat basslines, impulsive beats, noise attitude and 'less is
more' melodic lines. Strong German vocals singing about madness, about disease, about black, about white, about you, about me, about both of us... about
megalomaniac minds dropping down on Earth.
Claus Kruse overcome all limits and let his synth engines run full throttle, fusing together for the first time his characteristic and unique PNE sound with
the Sonic Unit production arsenal. "Reiz und Reaktion" also features 5 bonus remixes by SUICIDE COMMANDO, LEAETHER STRIP, the PNE live-crew SERPENTS,
TECHNOIR, and the amazing FUAR.

Retention No. 2 (Science for the Satanic Citizen CD + Science for the Satanic Spawn CD)
£21.99
Review
One year after Volume 1, here comes the second volume of LEAETHER STRIP "Retention" box series through which Claus Larsen is re-releasing his complete back-
catalogue. Each re-release has both the fully remastered version of the original album (with special bonus material) on disc one and on the second disc, a
totally rewritten and reinterpreted rendition of selected songs from the original album by LEAETHER STRIP, using current technologies. "Science for the
Satanic Citizen", LEAETHER STRIP's second full length, is probably his most hellish album ever, establishing the Danish artist as leading act on the cult
Zoth Ommog label and confirming the band's trademark sound, renowned for its punishing rhythmic pace and aggressive electronic style with distorted
vocals.
The "Retention No 2" box includes 2 complementary albums: first of which is the "Science for the Satanic Citizen" CD, remastered by Claus Larsen himself,
giving a stronger and wider sound to this chef d'oeuvre while staying very faithful to the original work. The original track-listing has also been extended
with the addition of tracks from the "Object V" EP and other rarities of the period. Second comes the "Science for the Satanic Spawn" CD which gathers some
10 selected tracks taken from disc one, totally re-written and re-recorded by LEAETHER STRIP in the 2008 upgraded Strip Farm studio, benefiting from today's
technologies and Claus Larsen's acquired expertise through the years. The fully extended power blast is a guaranteed joy for LEAETHER STRIP's faithful and
ever-growing fanbase. The "Retention" series proves that Electronic Body Music is NOT dead and allows the younger fan generation to discover the early work
of the living legend LEAETHER STRIP and realise that good old giants still have what it takes to command today's dancefloors. Neither disc is available
separately and they are only sold in this deluxe carton box which also includes some additional fan goodies...

A new MASSIV IN MENSCH album is always a time to sit down, take a deep breath, and expect the unexpected. This German industrial/synthpop band is
consistent in their inconsistency and this album retains MASSIV IN MENSCH's tongue-in-cheek style. By far the biggest surprise is the collaboration with
MIND.IN.A.BOX called "Supermassive Gravity"; already a worldwide club hit, it is a perfectly constructed electro-industrial track that you will play again
and again! Consistently brilliant and never disappointing, "Meanwhile, Back In The Jungle" is the spanking the industrial scene needs so badly!
After four studio albums, several digital-only singles, and a contribution to Artoffact's Uturn series, Massiv in Mensch turn up the heat on "Meanwhile Back
in the Jungle", their fifth and wildest release to date. Without question, what we have here is the zaniest, most psychedelic, and hardest to describe
collection of techno-tongue-in-cheekiness that you will ever have the happy luck to position in your CD player or slide onto your iPod. MASSIV IN MENSCH
never take themselves too seriously, and their incredible sense of humour shows on tracks such as "Pink Dream" and the absolutely essential "Hou Je Bek Vuile
Teef". Followers of Nietzsche might do a double-take as MASSIV IN MENSCH gets right into the circle of power on "Powerful" (though who knows, maybe they mean
the dancefloor?!), and connoisseurs of electronic thrills and spills will overjoyed with "Never Trust The Outline" and "Ikonoklast!"
The influences of SCOOTER, UTAH SAINTS, KLF, and THE BEASTIE BOYS are all over this record, as are sounds as diverse as APOPTYGMA BERSERK and ASHTRAYHEAD
(remember that awesome release?). As usual, MASSIV IN MENSCH dive headfirst into the cauldron of chaos and never come up for air!

This latest addition to the acclaimed "Classic Albums" series takes us to the early eighties and the release of DURAN DURAN's second album "Rio".
Released against a backdrop of riots, record unemployment and the Falklands War this optimistic and celebratory album was to generate a string of hit singles
and groundbreaking videos, and catapult DURAN DURAN to global stardom. For this release Eagle Vision brings in four of the Fab Five (Andy Taylor, having
left the band once again, does not participate) to create a very entertaining and informative analysis of one of the biggest albums of the 80s. Nick Rhodes
describes the origins of the opening sound on the album's title track, and talks about how he remodeled "The Chauffeur" into an electronic track from its
origins as an acoustic number. They even recruited David Kershenbaum to talk about remixing several Rio tracks to make them more "American" (smart move,
that). John Taylor pulls out his bass and plays a few riffs, and reveals how he had to switch from his fingers to a pick and back on "Hold Back the Rain."
Russell Mulcahy is on hand to talk about the videos he shot in Sri Lanka (three videos in three days, yikes), and Bob Geldof appears to rave about the
record, too. This DVD tells the story behind the writing, recording and subsequent success of the album through newly filmed interviews, musical
demonstrations and both new and archive performances.
Features excerpts from: Rio, My Own Way, Hungry Like The Wolf, New Religion, Save A Prayer, The Chauffeur & more...
Bonus Features: Brand new session performances filmed in Boston especially for this DVD of: 1) Save A Prayer 2) The Chauffeur 3) New Religion 4) Hungry Like
The Wolf 5) Rio. Additional interviews and demonstrations not included in the broadcast version.

Re-issue of MARC ALMOND's "Vermin in Ermine", originally released in 1984. With the wracked final days of SOFT CELL behind him, Almond gleefully
threw himself into a full-time solo career with a splash. Allied with producer Mike Hedges, already riding high from his work with THE CURE and SIOUXSIE AND
THE BANSHEES, and with a newly stable backing-band, THE WILLING SINNERS, Almond lets go over an interestingly varied palette of music, from the shimmering
and sharp "Tenderness is a Weakness" to the percussion-heavy "Split Lip". Now freely continuing the classic SOFT CELL lyrical vibe of passion in the city's
darker, more secret corners - the titles "Shining Sinners" and "Gutter Hearts" almost say it all! Format CD

Re-issue of Marc Almond's MARC & THE MAMBAS second (and last using this alias) album, originally released in 1983. On the double album "Torment
and Toreros", Marc Almond delved deeply into the cabaret form he loved so dearly. Supported by either pianos or orchestras, Almond sings a set of songs that
supposedly shatter taboos but too often sound forced. Despite the problems in the material, there are some interesting moments on the record that make it
worthwhile for dedicated fans.

Re-issue of the first MARC & THE MAMBAS album, originally released in 1982. For his debut solo album, Marc Almond formed a hodgepodge band called
The Mambas - the most prominent collaborators were Matt Johnson (THE THE) on guitar and Annie Hogan on Piano - and made a conscious departure from Soft Cell.
There are some touches of synth-pop here and there, but for the most part the record is considerably more ambitious, covering torch songs, tortured balladry
in the vein of Scott Walker, covers of the Velvet Underground and Syd Barrett, and straight pop. It was produced by Flood (DEPECHE MODE, U2, NITZER EBB, NICK
CAVE).

"Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" is a retrospective compilation covering a period in history of the one of the most important French
alternative/wave bands of the 90s: RISE AND FALL OF A DECADE. It covers their entire career from their very beginning in 1987 (with "Galdhopiggen
Glittertind" which became their first single) through the four successful albums of 90s ("Rise and Fall of a Decade", "Noisy But Empty", "You Or Sidney" and
"Forget the 20th Century") and rare singles ("An Evening With Bernard", "Mistake") to the present time ("Don't Save The Museum" recorded in 2006).
Atmospheric keyboards, acoustic or distorted guitar, expressive male and heavenly female vocals, excellent lyrics. Their extraordinary songs are full of
beauty and melancholy.

FANTASTIC LIVE SESSION RECORDED WITH THE ORIGINAL KILLING JOKE LINE-UP, BACK TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1982!!
Jaz Coleman has said about this release: "Can you imagine it? The original line up hasn't been in the same room since 24th February 1982 and I am waiting for
Paul to arrive here at Youth's studio in Granada, Spain at any moment. Like most pre-conceptions, the reality is always different. The door opens and there
he is, we embrace, still the same athletic build, the same impeccable manners, the same fire in his eyes. Inwardly I am delighted for I feel we have truly
transcended any petty differences of the past. As most people are aware there have been many incarnations of KILLING JOKE over the years. However, the
original line up bears no comparison to later line ups, neither socially nor musically. For example there are always two people moving in opposite
directions. In the present tense this manifests as Youth insisting that we write some new songs for the tour whereas my concern is learning five hours of
music (i.e. two sets) always the revolutionary and the reactionary, simultaneously. Our conversations and debates follow a similar pattern. As for the sound,
it is far from polished, to put it mildly, but when it locks in it is both emotional and devastating. For me, my life seems strangely complete with these
characters (who, when all is said and done, are family). We started as teenagers together. KILLING JOKE was our further education and now we are all
approaching fifty! Here then is the raw, beautifully imperfect soundtrack to so many people's lives, least of all our own."

DIR EN GREY return with the highly-anticipated follow up to 2007's smash hit "The Marrow of a Bone", the new full-length album "Uroboros". The
album is named after the Ouroboros symbol, which is a dragon or snake figure depicted in full circle consuming itself. This represents continuity and the
cycle of power, emphasizing the theme of reincarnation, an idea propagated heavily by the band during promotion. Created over the span of a year during the
band's various trips abroad, the new album features 13 new tracks including the emotional English-language hit "Dozing Green", the quiet and crazy "Glass
Skin", and popular live track "Third Time Does the Trick."
Uroboros is "stuffed with themes of 'guilt and reincarnation' as well as 'the past, present and future of Dir En Grey'" as guitarist Kaoru stated in a press
release. This was later echoed in CDJapan's album overview, calling the album "a sort of return for the band, revisiting the pre-'Withering to Death' era."
Kaoru also indicated that the album would be a progression into "heavier and darker" sounds than prior albums, as well as an "oriental and religious mood".
The band has been recording with many new instruments, including mandolin, to create a unique sound and vocalist Kyo has put an emphasis on "non-screaming
vocals", accentuating softer composition.

Hailing from Mexico City, C-LEKKTOR has all the rage and anger to fuel hopes that Mexico has yet spawned another electronic monster in the vein
of Hocico and Amduscia! C-LEKKTOR's highly anticipated debut album "The Silence Procession" is a powerful mixture of hard-hitting beats, dark atmospheres and
beautiful melodies. The Silence Procession is a relentless assault against authority and suppression of ideas - depicting humanity's decline and self-
deception, and protesting against an oppressive church and blind beliefs.
C-LEKKTOR is now locked and loaded... join the procession! A MUST-HAVE for fans of Hocico, Suicide Commando, Grendel and similar acts!

Neon were one of the most active bands in Italian 80s new-wave scene, and an important part of Italian music history. The band started life as a
duo in Florence's undeground culture at the end of the 70s, and soon gained attention for their Kraftwerk-style synths together with New Romantic and Post-
punk influences from bands like Joy Division, Ultravox and Human League. In 1980, the band got off to an electronic start with the single "Information of
Death" (co-written by later PANKOW founder Maurizio Fasolo). They then went through a series of line up changes and emerged with a mix of obsessive electro
sounds, obscure atmospheres and quite original pop melodies which took shape in later works like "Tapes of darkness" (1981), "Obsession" (1981), "My Blues Is
You" (1983), "Dark Age" (1984); in 1985 "Rituals" sanctioned Neon as the best Italian new wave band of that year. Excellent studio production and intense
live performances were what made Neon iconic on the Italian Alternative muic scene.
This compilation contains such highlights as "Dark Age", "Isolation", "Information of Death", "Red Light", "My Blues Is You" and many more. Last but not
least the CD also includes the original video for "Isolation". This video was filmed and directed by Carlo Isola on 16 mm film, and is Neon's only official
video.

Transmitting from underground Los Angeles, THE DEEP EYNDE's 5th release "Blackout", continues to establish them as one of the longest running
underground acts currently in the United States.
"Blackout" is more than just an anthology, it is a monument that marks the band's return to an organic sound. The project includes a cross-section of re-
mastered, out of print, and unreleased tracks from their early days, as well as rare video footage which hightlights the history of a local band whose roots
have run deep within the global underground movement for over 15 years.
From the early 1990s, THE DEEP EYNDE's eclectic evolution has propelled them beyond their dark beginnings into a broader realm of music. From punk to
gothic, from CBGB's to The Whiskey, THE DEEP EYNDE has permeated the very fabric of several distinct musical genres on a level unmatched by other bands of
their calibre. "Blackout" mirrors the lost voice of musicians who have devoted their lives to music and touring. But more imporantly, it is for those who
are able to translate the tale of their experiences into the texture of sound. "Blackout" is not only a celebration of their humble beginnings, but also a
historical journey through the years that comes full circle with their newest song "My Darkest Hour", recorded in April of 2008. It has been described by
Face to Face's sound Engineer as "Classic Deep Eynde".

This is just the second release from the German label Isegrimm Records (following on from the industrial legends Gerechtigkeits Liga, exactly 3
years ago).
Isegrimm is very proud to bring this classic electropop band from Liverpool with its first album "Low Technology" back into minds and markets in a very nice
slightly re-designed six panel digipak. But beware: this release also features the band's first 12" and some bonus unreleased material, giving a total
running time of over 63 minutes!
PINK INDUSTRY was formed in Liverpool by Jayne Casey (formerly of BIG IN JAPAN and PINK MILITARY) and Ambrose Reynolds (from FRANKY GOES TO HOLLYWOOD) and
they released their first 12" and debut album in 1982. 20 tracks all in all, with the lovely, hypnotic voice of Jayne, which will transport you instantly
back to the good old days, when vinyl was GOD.

German label Raubbau have decided that the time is ripe to end the nearly two decades of severe under-exposure for DEAF MACHINE, the MEGAPTERA
offshoot conceived by MIKAEL SVENSSON.
Up until this year, the majority of listeners to industrial music were not even aware of the name DEAF MACHINE, whose sound, while operating within the
confines of death industrial, clearly lacks antecedence in its more oppressive, minimal approach; a rhythm-less universe inhabited by the creaking noises of
analogue devices and metallic artefacts, and fleeting voices leaking through from media broadcasts. Svensson may have been a minor player in the scene, but
his precious few moments of brilliance are now finally captured for posterity. What more semi-forgotten corpses from the heyday of Swedish death industrial
are waiting to be unburied?

At very young age, the Norwegian one-man project HPC started creating electronic music that ranged from danceable electronica and psy-trance to
hard-/speed-/breakcore, ambient & noise. In his own words, HPC's aim is to build an aural exposure of his personal view of life by creating music beyond the
predictable schedules and clichés of most electronic music. With this debut he has perfectly accomplished what he had in mind. HPC presents a fusion of heavy
syncopated beats and pulsing low end bass, balanced by synth textures and soundtrack-ish samples - inducing atmospheres that dwell between unbridled ecstasy
and subliminal hypnosis. Tracks like "Machine" and "Run" are a fine example of the terrifying and liberating climax of rhythmic power's crescendo. Feel free
to file "Halfbreed" between illbient, dubstep and darkest ambient that has accumulated hardtech aggressiveness. With this album HPC has hit the target - and
this is only the beginning...

First release by the young artist JB Zeller who is based in Southern France, featuring 11 tracks, recorded between 2005 and 2008. Zeller is
affected by "all kinds of subversive music" (ranging from breakcore and industrial music to dubstep) in such a way that he is able to assimilate these
different musical facets into his own style. Needless to say the results are unique and subversive in their own right. Audio Vandalism is an aggregation of
complex beat layers, deep dark bass, distorted synth textures, ominous samples and algid ambiences that are interwoven with atrabilious melody lines.
Straight forward electro-industrial meets complex breakbeats merged with whirls of noise, captured media coverage and a hint of melancholy. This album can be
seen as a missing link between heavy, metric electronica, straight-line jungle-core and saturnine movie soundtracks. Join the Audio Vandalism!

Andreas Glöckner is perpetuating what began years ago and what was perfected with "Suspect". Still, the target Moctan has set is visible:
creating a unique synthesis of atmosphere, aggression and rhythm. After starting with the comparatively silent "Here and Now", Moctan increases speed and
activates the supercharger on the subsequent tracks - making you move, just as intended. Titles like "Come closer" and "A New Day" slow down the pace by
using dark synths and ceremonial voices which create a hypnotic trance - only to be followed by pulsing floor burners like "Long Distance Runner" and "Deja
Vu". After having endured the abrasive noise attack of "Overkill" the listener will reach the finish line with the heavily grooved remixes by Asche and
Bipol. Once again, Moctan has created a perfect balance between hard technoid dance tracks with an industrial feel and disturbing soundscapes - all overlaid
with a multitude of unsettling, fierce samples. Come closer - join the race!

After two aquatic adventures on the Spectre sub-label Nautilus and the emotional trilogy "Amore", "Chagrin" and "Drift" on Spectre Records
itself, you might have wondered if the guys from KRAKEN would be able to rise above the level of excellence they had already reached. And the answer is, yes,
they are. On "Nachtschade" the Krakens take their creational possibilities a step further on a combined CD & DVD release. The CD part gives you over an
hour's worth of new music as dictated by the little voices in the twisted minds of Joris and Ricardo. There are 13 untitled tracks in which you are guided
around the world, with influences ranging from Belgium to India, spoken word in Dutch and Iranian, and finally auditory visualisation from above and under
sealevel.
On the DVD it looks like the men behind those little voices took over the camera, lighting and sound departments of a professional filmset. The result is
some truely astonishing video material with which KRAKEN annihilates every predefined thought in your head. 65 minutes of either new material - not even on
the "Nachtschade" CD - or reworked older tracks and visuals ranging from high quality art movies to Lynch-like mindscapes. And no, we are not joking about
this..."Nachtschade" by Kraken is not just another spectre release, it's a whole new dimension!

Their first album on UMB Kollektif was an unexpected success. This project is absolutely unique, although it is labelled under neo-folk by many.
Jägerblut's new release "Tannöd" is the legal and licensed background sound of the official stage play to a very special and haunting part of Bavarian
history. If you are familiar with bands like STURMPERCHT or JÄNNERWEIN, then you will know what to expect...
On "Tannöd" Jägerblut (Anton Knilpert/Thorofon, Genevieve Pasquier, Tikki Nagual, Giuseppe Tonal - Tonal Y Nagual) unite spheric soundscapes with
folkloristic influences and powerful rhytms into a coherent piece of extraordinary music. "Tannöd" re-tells an enthralling, cruel, crime tale from a
different perspective, positively lacking the usage of speech. The intonation and the ferocity of (in?-)human silence - a singular event that can only allow
one question: "How could that possibly have happened?"

AUTODAFEH are from the south of Sweden and make hard pumping EBM/Electronic music with glorious sing-along lyrics. They are clearly influenced by
bands such as Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb, but their sound is unique and has got a special twist to it, and that makes AUTODAFEH a very nice contribution to the
world of EBM.
The story began in late 2007 when two old friends Jesper and Mika started to talk about forming a classical EBM-band with a new twist. Mika, who was already
working with Anders on another musical project, asked him if he wanted to join, and he did. The 3 of them then formed AUTODAFEH. They started to make some
very cool tunes, and due to the buzz on MySpace and other internet-based pages, they got in contact with Sigsaly Transmissions [US] who signed them
instantly. The band members have a wide experience of the EBM and the music industry; Anders used to work with synth-guru Trevor Horn (PROPAGANDA, FGTH),
Mika has produced several tracks for various well known artists, and Jeppe is a long-time club promoter from the world of EBM in Sweden.
The band is clearly here to stay and with their much anticipated debut CD "Hunt For Glory" they prove that they are perfectly able to deliver.

The sado-booty ring-master is back again! With enough porn and horror samples to satiate the most demented programmer, and enough juicy bass to
placate the most voracious bass-head, "Oozing Bass Spasms" is a masterwork by one of the world's most original artists. By far his most approachable and even
refined album, it's still pretty crazy in a way that only OTTO VON SCHIRACH can provide. Elements of booty, electro, breakcore, and rave music all find a
place in his bizarre universe. Compared with booty-bassers like DJ FUNK or DJ ASSAULT, where the objects of carnal desires are mainly female, both male and
female get their just desserts from OTTO! From the first track to the last, we are spoon-fed outstanding beats of all types, fractured and welded into
ghettoized forms never seen before. "Magnetic Rave Headache" will probably be one of the hardest breakcore tracks you've ever heard, the ballad "Her Blood Is
Like Poison" gets the ladies horny, whilst the boys start a mosh-pit during "DJ Hepatitis Tofuburger". But things really start to get rowdy with the
collaboration with Liquido "Romance in the club", an electro-club banger of the type we rarely get anymore. It's positively soaked in party!

"Saw V" is the upcoming fifth installment in the "Saw" film series. Unlike the previous three installments, Saw V will not be directed by Darren
Lynn Bousman, but instead by David Hackl, who was the production designer for "Saw II", "Saw III" and "Saw IV", as well as a second-unit director for "Saw
III" and "Saw IV".
What started out as a 'little' indie horror movie back in 2004 has turned into a juggernaut go-for-the-throat franchise so gruesome you want to turn away,
yet so compelling you just can't. And fittingly enough, the movie soundtracks have always been amicable counterparts to this, assaulting the senses in a
fashion that would make Jigsaw proud.
Adding to the sonic assault of "Saw V" is Charlie Clouser (ex-NINE INCH NAILS), no stranger to the "Saw" soundtracks, with his cuts "Trap Attacks" and "What
It Takes," as well as FILTER's remix version of "What's Next". Other killer songs include: TESTAMENT's "True Believer", MINISTRY's "Death and Destruction

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, are you ready for Hypnoskull? Like a brick thrown into your intestines, P. Stevens and his collaborators
demand your attention - whether you like it or not. This mash-up of ultra-fast breaks, straight hard-driving rhythms, oscillating sub-bass, heavy distortion,
explicit lyrics, and sampled media madness perfectly displays Hypno's perception as it is today. All this combined with his characteristic 'e-punk' attitude
(clearly demonstrated in the cover of the Dead Kennedys classic 'California Über Alles'). At the same time he offers a blueprint for what rhythmic noise can
be today (Dying circuit assaults v1). This album makes damn sure Patrick and his 21st century Rat Pack will get the earnings they deserve - whether money or

The Battle of Nikolaevka was fought on January 26, 1943 as a small part of the larger Battle of Stalingrad. The battle pitted the forces of the
Italian Army's 8th Alpini Corps against the four Soviet Armies. The Soviets had already occupied every village, and bitter battles were fought by the
soldiers of the Tridentina to clear the way. In fifteen days the soldiers covered 200km on foot, fought twenty-two battles and spent fourteen nights camped
in the middle of the Russian Steppe. Temperatures during the night fell between -30°C and -40°C. On the morning of January 26, the spearheads of the
Tridentina reached the little hamlet of Nikolayevka, now part of the village of Livenka. The village and the surrounding area was under the occupation of a
Soviet division. The Alpini immediately began their heroic attack as they knew that this was the last Soviet position blocking their way to safety. But the
Soviet forces held their ground, and after hours of fighting the Italian units became desperate as each hour increased the risk that Soviet reinforcements
might arrive. General Luigi Reverberi, commander of the Tridentina division, stepped onto one of the last three tanks as the sun began to set and, yelling
"Tridentina Avanti", led his men personally on the final assault...
65 years later comes a new assault from an Italian army! The best in apocalyptic neofolk and martial Italian bands are collected together in this compilation
of exclusive recordings!

Back with their long awaited new album! Mixing harsh rhythmic noise with a big spectrum of influences and richly varied sound, SUICIDE INSIDE
stands for hard, rough and complex-sounding rhythmic industrial. After two extremely well-received first albums, "Dead Red" supplies eleven tracks plus three
bonus remixes with massive technoid beats, deeply distorted industrial noise, painful synth layers and Natasha's voice that really gets under your skin!
"Dead Red" invites you on a journey into the post-apocalyptic desert of iron and steel, where dead atoms have saved the souls, full of fury and love. From
killing walls of sound in "Mechanics of the Fall" to the oppressive waltz of "Lick the silence", from dancefloor blasts in "Eternity Smells Like Skin" or
"Endless suicide" to furious broken beats in "Aflame", from hypno-idm in "Kidnapping of Europe" to pounding rhythmic noise - this album contains a wide
spectrum of incredibly original sounds and songwriting! The CD also contains remixes by MOCTAN, CONFIG.SYS and BEINHAUS.

Over the past decade SECOND SKIN have made music for compilations, labels, film, and most importantly, for themselves... "Illa Exuro in
Silentium" (She Burns in Silence) is their 29th musical release and fourth studio album.
During their long career, Second Skin have played with everyone from Rozz Williams to The Mission UK. They have also been involved in a number of tribute
projects, including a Bowie tribute, "Goth Oddity 2000: A Tribute to David Bowie" released in 2000 on Cleopatra and tributes to The Cure and to The Mission
which scored the band high marks from both Robert Smith and Wayne Hussey.
Second Skin were hand picked by Director Pearry Teo to work on a movie based on a script by the late Jim Morrison of THE DOORS, and when the band met with
rock legend Ray Manzerak, he said of SECOND SKIN "This is exactly the kind of band Jim discribed in his script; dark, modern, stage presence and grace.
Second Skin is a band that in my opinion does not sound like a copy of some other band doing dark Gothic style music." The rights to this movie were
ultimately overturned by the Morrison estate, but riding high on that energy SECOND SKIN later made two movies "Liberata Me" and "Children of the Arcane" -
films went hand in hand with their epic soundscape.
We now present to you this new album ~ it is a Vampire Western, it is dark and it is true to everything you always wanted from a SECOND SKIN recording. "Illa
Exuro in Silentium" stands for 11 tracks of pure SECOND SKIN - sexy, fast, angry and powerful.

"Love It or Leave It" is definitively the last album of RISE AND FALL OF A DECADE. Reunited in 2006, the band's new creative effort was soon
brought to an end by the sudden death of singer Pierre François Maurin-Malet in May 2007. All vocals had been already recorded and composer Thierry Sintoni
did an emotionally disturbing job in finishing the yet incomplete songs. This process resulted in an album that presents us a grown-up and genius band that
was no longer bound to any genre limitations. In particular, the ballad "In the Time When", a collaboration with guest singer Carla Picchiantano and Pierre
François, proves that Rise and Fall of a Decade are still among the most important bands of their genre. As special bonus, the limited first edition of
thealbum comes up with an additional CD called "A Missing Friend Tribute" - full of mixes and cover versions done by bands like Collection D'Arnell-Andrea,
Speaking Silence, Hide and Seek, Nemo Sandman, O Quam Tristis. And now, after 20 years - after two decades - the journey has come to an end and we say
goodbye to one of the greatest bands - and great people... Merci.

Los Angeles-based Imperative Reaction return with "Minus All", the follow up to their highly acclaimed 2006 release "As We Fall". Never one to
stagnate musically, Ted Phelps, the man behind IR, has been evolving musically since the band's inception, from the early days as a distorted electro outfit
to the cleaner, more polished sound on the classic release "Redemption".
Having spent much of the past two years touring the world with acts such as VNV Nation, Covenant and Combichrist, Imperative Reaction has not let their
growing successes affect their sense of musical integrity. "Minus All" combines the purely electronic feel of their last two albums and expands upon this,
with thirteen tracks of unbridled aggression. Whether aimed at the dance floor, or darker and more brooding in nature, IR's intoxicating mix of driving,
urgent melodies and anthemic vocals will continue to win over fans worldwide.

New York, NY - 100,000 Americans and Iraqis killed since 2003. Over 5,000 dead in the Second Intifada in Palestine. 300,000 dead, including hundreds of
thousands of women and children, in Darfur. New York-based hard electro outfit FGFC820 utilizes music not only to raise awareness, but also hopefully to
elicit a response from their followers.
Formed in 2004 as a collaboration of two of NYC's top DJs, Rexx Arkana and DrÄcos, FGFC820 menaces the global club scene with their harsh blend of heavy,
bombastic beats and aggressively delivered political vitriol.
After their successful debut album, "Urban Audio Warfare", the band now returns with their sophomore release, "Law & Ordnance", an angry and antagonistic
onslaught of heavily armed club anthems, all replete with Arkana's insistence on personal and civil accountability. Expansive from start to finish, "Law &
Ordnance" positions itself as both retaliatory and proactive, a literal call to arms aimed at all thinking persons everywhere, irrespective of nationality or
ethnicity.
Whether it's taking on the problems of the world, or just battling personal demons, "Law & Ordnance" reveals an innate appreciation and understanding of
heavy electronic dance music and is sure to make another significant impact on clubs around the world.

"The New Backwards" contains material with the same pedigree as "The Ape". In other words tracks that were originally recorded at Trent Reznor's
(Nine Inch Nails) New Orleans studio "Nothing" in the 90s and held back at the time for some reason not immediately clear, though the original roughs have been
available on the internet for years since. These remaining tracks, the last remaining major unreleased work by Coil, yet unused on "The Ape", were reworked in
Bangkok last year by Peter Christoperson & Danny Hyde. The result is a suite of 9 songs, that engage in an oddly ambivalent conversation between Coil's
distant past and its posthumous present.

Four Years after his last album on Daft Records, Rafael M. Espinosa presents the third album "Pro Analogic" from his Barcelona-based project
Geistform. Since his earlier recordings, "Uno" and "Sequentia 2.0" he has also worked also as a composer on the DIVE album "Behind the Sun" and performed at
many important European industrial festivals.
The new album was created using only analogue equipment and resulted in an electro-industrial feast full of kicking beats, analogue modulations, oscillators,

At last: a re-release of the sold out and highly sought-after debut album from PERSEPHONE - deleted for almost 4 years! PERSEPHONE is Sonja
Kraushofer and her solo debut, "Home", is a beautiful exhibit of musical and lingual nostalgia made palatable to modern listeners. It explores the spiritual,
cultural, and other essential paths of existence that we have taken once before, and demonstrates what made them invigorating for some, and excruciating for
others. On "Home" Sonja is joined by Tobias Hahn and Dirk Riegert, the two masterminds behind JANUS and producers of bands like SOPOR AETERNUS and SAMSAS
TRAUM. The three musicians gracefully move from rhythmically oriented songs with strong medieval leanings to melodically rich, dark neo-classical pieces. In
a sense, "Home" is a dark blend of the best moments of SOPOR AETERNUS and DEAD CAN DANCE, but without being a mere copy. Besides many classical musicians
(violin, cello, bassoon, oboe, clarinet and much more) this album features Wim, ex-guitar player of CHRISTIAN DEATH.

The new Soko Friedhof CD "Wer hat Angst vor..." ("Who's Afraid of...") will be out in October. Soko Friedhof is the Berlin-based project of the
Untoten members David A. Line and singer Greta Csatlós. "Wer hat Angst vor..." is the follow-up album to 2007's "Klingeltöne Satans" and according to David
it contains at least 3 potential smash hits with the tracks "Die Welt Geht Unter", "Du Geile Sau2 and "Gewaltmusik". Soko Friedhof are one of the the most
controversial representatives of the German Electro scene. With their 6 studio albums so far, they have delivered countless helpings of catchy melodies
combined with strange and not too serious lyrics. Certainly not the deepest lyrics you've ever heard. But it's fun! Musically it seems like Soko Friedhof
have found their way during the last two albums, and that's also the style we hear on the new album. Catchy melodies with a danceable beat are the formula,
and beside the dominating male vocals by David, a female guest appearance by Greta Csatlos. "Wer hat Angst vor..." is simply a great album to listen to or
dance to before a night of clubbing. Nothing more, nothing less...

Winter is approaching and the days are getting shorter... it is the time of year that just longs for adequately gloomy background music, and
Blutengel have conjured up a very special pre-holiday season treat for their fans. On their most mature single to date, they take their trademark hit
qualities, and swathe them in a dark, minimal and spine-tingling groove.
"Dancing In The Light" is pure atmosphere, mingling gloomy intensity with a subversive catchiness - the song is a departure to new frontiers without negating
the group's roots. In preparation, for their tenth anniversary jubilee, the band is releasing not just one but two versions of their latest gothic-synth-
anthem: the single will be released in two different and strictly limited versions with different cover artwork. Each version will contain the single version
of the song plus two different exclusive bonus tracks, one remix and the video clip for the single. Limited Blutengel singles usually sell out quickly, so
anyone wishing to own these highly sought after collector's items order quickly.
"Dancing In The Light" is not only the perfect appetizer for the forthcoming album from Blutengel, scheduled for release early next year, but with its unique
balancing act between the world of darkness and that of light it is also the ideal soundtrack for the dark time of the year!

Modulate is a UK based industrial project, seamlessly blending elements of EBM, electro, noise and techno into a distinct and original hard
electronic industrial sound. Modulate first gained notoriety in 2006, when the song "Skullf**k" began devastating dance floors worldwide. The "Skullfuck" EP
stormed the charts in Europe, and Modulate toured with VNV Nation and Combichrist, playing to over 35,000 fans, and all this before releasing a full album!
Now, Modulate has set the charges once again, preparing a 10 track dance floor assault, including a cover of The Prodigy classic "No Good" and the dance
floor smash "Skullf**k".

After their successful debut album, "Urban Audio Warfare" , the band now returns with their sophomore release, "Law & Ordnance", an angry and antagonistic
onslaught of heavily armed club anthems, all replete with Arkana's insistence on personal and civil accountability.

Faderhead is back with "FH3", his 3rd full-length album in 3 years. "FH3" is once again an evolution from the styles of "FH2" - expanding and
exploring previously untrodden grounds. And while the music is undeniably Faderhead, it is considerably darker and carries less of a party vibe. Definitely a
departure from the days of songs like "Coke For My Ass", "Mono Man" and "Dirtygrrrls/Dirtybois". Lyrically, the fun-loving, tongue-in-cheek tone and the
smirky ease of "FH2" has given way to more serious, contemplative topics and much more emotional statements. What used to be fun, now seems to be sarcasm.
Less dancing - more listening... that seems to be the order of the day when it comes to "FH3". And while monster-stompers like "TZDV" are bound to take
dance-floors worldwide by storm, the focus this time lies on storytelling and good songwriting. Something sorely needed in the music world these days...

UK sturm and drang stompers UBERBYTE rose from the ashes of the controversial industrial rock outfit KILLING MIRANDA in late 2006. Newly re-
christened with the enigmatic moniker "Uberman", KM's former vocalist quickly took Uberbyte to the stage, providing support to such heavy hitters as Hocico,
The Cruxshadows, Panzer AG, KiEw, Die Krupps, XP8, and Faderhead and becoming an almost overnight sensation in the flourishing, revitalized UK industrial
scene.
An appearance on the distinguished 2007 four-disc compilation ENDZEIT BUNKERTRACKS III for the club hit "Total War" pushed Uberbyte even further into the
spotlight, with their fanbase dramatically increasing due to their energetic live performances (which have already taken them as far as Mexico), remixes for
the likes of Leatherstrip, XP8, and Aesthetic Perfection, and grassroots local and international support.
Wasting no time, UBERBYTE will be releasing their debut CD SIC on the U.S. label CRUNCH POD, home of industrial upstarts such as CERVELLO ELETTRONICO,
MANUFACTURA, C/A/T, and CAUSTIC. SIC's lean programming and infectious hooks keep one foot grounded in industrial's dance heyday of CUBANATE, LEATHER STRIP,
and early :WUMPSCUT: whilst maintaining a keen eye on the future with influences such as GRENDEL and HOCICO. While comparisons can be made to today's current
ebm/industrial fusions, none sound exactly like Uberbyte, and that demonstrates why they are on the rise. SIC is a head welding relentless rhythmic assault
that will get stuck in your mind for days to come.

Face the facts: has there been any release on the Electro scene in recent years that really brought innovation and a breath of fresh air to the
scene? Most of the so-called "modern" acts kept recycling concepts that are known to be successful while the grey eminences either stayed straight in line
with the sound they were renowned for or ventured into territories that were so far away from their roots that their fans were unwilling to follow.
Auto-Auto are two talented young guys from Sweden who have set out to do things a little differently. Left cold by current trends and removed from all
conventional approaches, they are creating their very own vision of electronic pop music that is refreshingly easy-going, highly club-compatible and pretty
darn cool. Where others refrain from breaching certain barriers, Johan Hellqvist and Erik Frankel are plunging in head-first and are not afraid of
incorporating rapped passages, analog minimalism and heart-warmingly nonsensical samples into their sound. They are masters of creating melodies that are
catchy as hell without ever drifting into banality. In short: Auto-Auto are making Electro a one-of-a-kind experience, combining the lust for experimentation
with an earnest approach to an addictive mixture. The smashing, hellishly dynamic sound was created by John Fryer (Depeche Mode, NIN.)
All you electro-junkies, hardliners, diehards and dance aficionados, forget everything about the old scene norms and give this album a listen! Auto-Auto are
rapidly expanding the sonic spectrum of the Out Of Line universe and are showing a brightly lit path into the future!
