Los Angeles-based Imperative Reaction return with "Minus All", the follow up to their highly acclaimed 2006 release "As We Fall". Never one to stagnate musically, Ted Phelps, the man behind IR, has been evolving musically since the band's inception, from the early days as a distorted electro outfit to the cleaner, more polished sound on the classic release "Redemption".
Having spent much of the past two years touring the world with acts such as VNV Nation, Covenant and Combichrist, Imperative Reaction has not let their growing successes affect their sense of musical integrity. "Minus All" combines the purely electronic feel of their last two albums and expands upon this, with thirteen tracks of unbridled aggression. Whether aimed at the dance floor, or darker and more brooding in nature, IR's intoxicating mix of driving, urgent melodies and anthemic vocals will continue to win over fans worldwide.

Just plain magical: the successful dark wave band's eleventh album. No other band in the German-speaking alternative and dark wave scene polarizes as much as Illuminate does. Johannes Berthold's troupe is either praised to the heavens or torn apart as "schlager". Illuminate succeeds in combining classical elements, danceable rhythms, electronic sound collages, romantic piano passages, and heavy guitars and turning all this into their own typical sound. After ten studio albums and a total of approx. 200,000 sold records, the band is among Germany's most successful dark wave acts. "Zeit der Wölfe" is a concept album based on fairy tales and symbolism and is definitely one of Illuminate's saddest and most contemplative works ever. Rocking moments, piano ballads, lavish sound collages, and unusual orchestrating will make their fans' hearts beat faster. And not only that: even sceptics will not be able to deny that "Zeit der Wölfe" has a fresh and unconventional flair. It's just plain magical!

With their 4th album "So Far from god... So Close to You", German Goth/Industrial/Rock band DAS SCHEIT continue to mix Electro and Metal in a way that is truly their own. Alongside the hardness, there is melody and danceability to keep the balance. With this hybrid sound their music is well suited to the dancefloor, and yet on the other hand has an epic nature perfect for an intimate headphone experience at home. Thematically, this concept-album treats the isolation of an abandoned person going through five phases of mourning and sorrow: proclamation, denial, rage, discussion and completion; thus the album is divided lyrically into these five chapters. Nevertheless, enough possibilities remain for the listener to create their own ending to the story - an ending that will doubtless be shaped by their own experiences in life.
The 13 track album was recorded and produced by Markus Teske at Bazement Studios (Germany). It features guest musicians Jape Perätalo (TO/DIE/FOR) and Michelle Darkness (END OF GREEN) with brilliant performances on the Scheitanic version of Bruce Springsteen/Patti Smith's 70s classic, "Because the Night".

Finally OEC have given in to the many demands for a re-release of this great AIN SOPH album! This new edition will come with completely re-designed artwork and includes an additional 3" MCD containing a new audio track recorded in 2008 + a video track!
'Oktober' was the comeback album of the Roman masters, following on from the album 'Aurora' and has been highly praised for its unique blend of Italian cabaret and true Italian folk songs. All songs are sung in Italian with Ain Soph's usual acoustic instrumentation and their typical keyboard patterns... Songs are reminiscent of 'Aurora' but with an additional, slighly rocky electric guitar. The album deals with tales about a Russian soldier during the communist October revolution of 1917, Probably even more 'surprising' and 'politically incorrect' than the incredible Aurora. Once again 'Oktober' has proven to be a work of the greatest standard!

Formed in 2003 by Stephen Carey (The Eden House, NFD), vocalist John Stone & Lee-Anne Burgess on bass. They spent the band's early years perfecting the huge bombastic sound of epic soaring guitars, sweeping orchestral textures, rock solid bass sounds, driving drums and insidious vocal hooks. Adoration's lush sound has captured a lot of interest over the last couple of years, with the band's music being played by clubs and radio stations all across the UK and mainland Europe. The band was introduced to mainland Europe through articles in Germany's Gothic magazine and others, additionally, early samples showcasing their signature sound were featured on "Gothic Comp. 36" and Strobelights "New Dark Age Vol 2". Adoration took to the road supporting both Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and All About Eve. This flourish of live activity culminated in a headline show, which brought to light their potential as a very exciting live act. When on tour they are joined by Simon Rippin (ex-Nefilim/NFD) on drums, and Rob (Voices of Masada) on 2nd guitar. 2008 sees the release of Adoration\'s long awaited debut album "Sleepwalking". Not content with the mediocre and the everyday, the band have crafted a masterpiece that will capture the imagination of listeners everywhere.

"The Passion of Joan of Arc", directed by Carl Th. Dreyer in 1928, is considered one of the best silent films ever made. Rene Falconetti gives one of the greatest performances ever recorded on film, as the young maiden who died for God and France. The original version of the film was lost for decades, after a fire destroyed the master negative. Dreyer himself attempted to reassemble a version from out takes and surviving prints, but he died believing his original cut was lost forever. Almost miraculously, a virtually complete print of Dreyer's original version was found in 1981. In The Nursery's new score reflects the films dramatic highs and lows from the emotional close-up photography of the trial through to the fevered final scenes surrounding Joan's death.

Join the Electroholics and dance with your darkness! Feel the heartbeat ("Herzschlag")!
The dark side is often very alluring... especially if it comes in form of catchy tunes with massive beats, like on the new album from German Electro-goths Cephalgy. It is titled "Herzschlag" and is easily their most versatile endeavour so far, featuring strong stompers, such as the aptly-titled "Electroholic" or "Hass Mich", alongside aggressive attacks such as "Dunkelseele", pulsating dark electro hits like "Königin" and melodic wave anthemssuch as "Müde". Cephalgy are driving their sound to the extremes without sacrificing their characteristically dark yet catchy style. The unmistakable deep voice of Jörg G. is as intense as ever and the album is even more club-compatible than its predecessors.

Counter Cultural provocateur Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and her reactivated Psychic TV aka "PTV3" will be releasing their second album "Mr. Alien Brain vs The Skinwalkers". This album is lovingly dedicated to Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge: 1969-2007. Initial pressing will include an exclusive DVD boasting 30 minutes of unseen PSYCHIC TV/PTV3 live and on the road and in the studio by filmmaker Marie Losier and other surprises.
Much of the material here was recorded direct to "tape" for NPR's "World Café" program at WXPN-FM's studios in Philadelphia. There were NO overdubs, no remixing. What you hear is what the band played. PTV3 had not played together for some six months previously, basically not since Lady Jaye dropped her body on October 9th 2007. The surviving members had one short, one hour rehearsal the night before the taping documented. The next day they went in and played their hearts and souls out for Lady Jaye. All were amazed at how sensitive and exact the breaks and textures were considering they were relying totally on instinct, on the moment. The album also includes "I Am Making A Mirror", Lady Jaye's song/poem for Genesis previously only available as a bonus track on the vinyl version of "Hell Is Invisible...", the previously unreleased mix of "New York Story" by Michael Gira (ANGELS OF LIGHT, SWANS), live recordings from PTV3's residency at Galapagos Art Space as well as 2 entirely new, unheard tracks ("The Alien Brain" & "I Love You, I Know").

Limited numbered edition of 500 copies in a metal box!
Exactly one year after the highly acclaimed 'Dead Cities' the man who we know better as Ah Cama-Sotz (Batman to his friends) presents a new album on his own Bats and Cats label. Hidden inside a metal CD-case lies the 'Declaration of Innocence', guarded by the characteristic circular logo of the Bat.
In ten tracks Ah Cama-Sotz tells the story of a journey - how your soul is transported into another dimension. Events on this journey involve a certain 'Sacrifice' as instructed by 'Voices from the Dark', a visit to 'Warszawa' and - albeit from a distance - watch the 'Decline of the Roman Empire'.
And like a true journey, the view out of the window is gorgeous. Varied and dynamic as we have gotten to know the talent of our tour-conductor. There are moments of deep dub with heavily distorted guitars, ambient neo-classical soundscapes, Arabian, as well as ritualistic influences. And the additional vocals of Fleur Pierets turn the rockiest mountain into the garden of eden ...
With 'Declaration of innocence' Ah Cama-Sotz succeeds again in delivering an album which completely f*cks up the inside of your head and therefore changes your perspective of a world filled with blood, guilt, sin and innocence.

The music on this album seems easily accessible, resuming the path Klangstabil has been on for years. The first impression to the expectant listener might be undiluted dark electro-based pop, and this isn't an inaccurate evaluation, as they call it 'Klangpop'. Massive synth surfaces, pulsing sequencer patterns and intense vocals intertwined with precise computerized drum beats add up to memorable tunes. The more you engage in 'Math & Emotion' the more the deepness of this release will develop. Just like the game of chess. Or indeed the game of life.

Klaus Schulze is a visionary. A dreamer. And he is well known for making his dreams come true. For a long time now he has wanted to collaborate with extremely gifted vocalist Lisa Gerrard. Finally he has been able to realise this dream.
Gerrard, born in Melbourne, Australia was once a member of the unique duo DEAD CAN DANCE and has since contributed to a host of movie scores such as Gladiator, Ali and Whale Rider. She owns one of the most remarkable and expressive voices of modern times. "I have wanted to work with Lisa since the days of Dead Can Dance in the 80s, but I never had an opportunity for such a collaboration", Schulze says. Till now.
The first fruit of this pairing was the double album "Farscape". Never before have you experienced Schulze - whose oeuvre is full of emotionally gripping music - in a more emotional framework. Then, on 18th July 2008, Klaus Schulze and Lisa Gerrard played at the "Night of the Prog III" Festival - an extraordinary concert on the "Loreley" Open Air Stage in St. Goarshausen, Germany. The results were magical. Lisa refined the tracks "Loreley" and "Wellgunde" with her unique voice. The concert was filmed to become Klaus Schulze's first DVD release. Last August Schulze and his sound engineer Tom Dams worked at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios to fix the 5.1 Mix. This post production process is part of the documentary included on the bonus disc. Klaus also did an exclusive interview with Steve Wilson from Porcupine Tree, which will be part of the bonus material for the DVD.
Schulze himself is an institution, a living legend - as a member of iconic electronic pop acts such as Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Tempel, and in his own right, with a plethora of solo albums. He has provided remixes for a variety of interesting bands and he has collaborated with many thrilling and innovative artists. The Moog specialist and self-confessed Wagner fan has been a flickering will-o-the-wisp within the music scene for nearly four decades!Audioglobe & Synthethic Symphony present:

Modulate is a UK based industrial project, seamlessly blending elements of EBM, electro, noise and techno into a distinct and original hard electronic industrial sound. Modulate first gained notoriety in 2006, when the song "Skullf**k" began devastating dance floors worldwide. The "Skullfuck" EP stormed the charts in Europe, and Modulate toured with VNV Nation and Combichrist, playing to over 35,000 fans, and all this before releasing a full album! Now, Modulate has set the charges once again, preparing a 10 track dance floor assault, including a cover of The Prodigy classic "No Good" and the dance floor smash "Skullf**k".

UK sturm and drang stompers UBERBYTE rose from the ashes of the controversial industrial rock outfit Killing Miranda in late 2006. Newly re-christened with the enigmatic moniker "Uberman", KM's former vocalist quickly took Uberbyte to the stage, providing support to such heavy hitters as Hocico, The Cruxshadows, Panzer AG, KiEw, Die Krupps, XP8, and Faderhead and becoming an almost overnight sensation in the flourishing, revitalized UK industrial scene.
An appearance on the distinguished 2007 four-disc compilation ENDZEIT BUNKERTRACKS III for the club hit "Total War" pushed Uberbyte even further into the spotlight, with their fanbase dramatically increasing due to their energetic live performances (which have already taken them as far as Mexico), remixes for the likes of Leatherstrip, XP8, and Aesthetic Perfection, and grassroots local and international support.
Wasting no time, UBERBYTE will be releasing their debut CD SIC on the U.S. label CRUNCH POD, home of industrial upstarts such as CERVELLO ELETTRONICO, MANUFACTURA, C/A/T, and CAUSTIC. SIC's lean programming and infectious hooks keep one foot grounded in industrial's dance heyday of CUBANATE, LEATHER STRIP, and early :WUMPSCUT: whilst maintaining a keen eye on the future with influences such as GRENDEL and HOCICO. While comparisons can be made to today's current ebm/industrial fusions, none sound exactly like Uberbyte, and that demonstrates why they are on the rise. SIC is a head welding relentless rhythmic assault that will get stuck in your mind for days to come.

New York, NY - 100,000 Americans and Iraqis killed since 2003. Over 5,000 dead in the Second Intifada in Palestine. 300,000 dead, including hundreds of thousands of women and children, in Darfur. New York-based hard electro outfit FGFC820 utilizes music not only to raise awareness, but also hopefully to elicit a response from their followers.
Formed in 2004 as a collaboration of two of NYC's top DJs, Rexx Arkana and Dräcos, FGFC820 menaces the global club scene with their harsh blend of heavy, bombastic beats and aggressively delivered political vitriol.
After their successful debut album, "Urban Audio Warfare" , the band now returns with their sophomore release, "Law & Ordnance", an angry and antagonistic onslaught of heavily armed club anthems, all replete with Arkana's insistence on personal and civil accountability. Expansive from start to finish, "Law & Ordnance" positions itself as both retaliatory and proactive, a literal call to arms aimed at all thinking persons everywhere, irrespective of nationality or ethnicity.
Whether it's taking on the problems of the world, or just battling personal demons, "Law & Ordnance" reveals an innate appreciation and understanding of heavy electronic dance music and is sure to make another significant impact on clubs around the world.

Faderhead is back with "FH3", his 3rd full-length album in 3 years. "FH3" is once again an evolution from the styles of "FH2" - expanding and exploring previously untrodden grounds. And while the music is undeniably Faderhead, it is considerably darker and carries less of a party vibe. Definitely a departure from the days of songs like "Coke For My Ass", "Mono Man" and "Dirtygrrrls/Dirtybois". Lyrically, the fun-loving, tongue-in-cheek tone and the smirky ease of "FH2" has given way to more serious, contemplative topics and much more emotional statements. What used to be fun, now seems to be sarcasm.
Less dancing - more listening... that seems to be the order of the day when it comes to "FH3". And while monster-stompers like "TZDV" are bound to take dance-floors worldwide by storm, the focus this time lies on storytelling and good songwriting. Something sorely needed in the music world these days...

Mexico attacks again! The other Middle American figurehead in Harsh Electro has completed work on their third album - and it is a hefty experience, indeed! Harder and far more infernal than ever, "Madness In Abyss" crushes us with rhythmic loops and pulsing beats while heavily distorted vocals and whipping EBM-sequencers kick us in the face. Edgar, Polo and Raoul have left their basic sound intact, an industrial perversion of Techno and Trance, but have embedded it in more complex and intense, sample-heavy constructs, thus banning the last spark of light from their songs. The Mexican trio has kept the clubs in mind as well though, basing their Hardfloor attack on straight beats combined with atmospheric soundscapes that provide their aggressive sounds with a catchy edge.
The limited first edition of this release comes in a Digipak and contains a bonus disc that shows the trio from a different musical side: extraordinary Dark Ambient tracks - the perfect sounds for a mad trip into the insides of a psychopath.
The aptly titled "Madness In Abyss" is by far Amduscia's best and most mature release to date!

"Devils In My Details" is the third solo collaboration between Ogre, lead singer and front man of legendary industrial heroes SKINNY PUPPY, and Mark Walk. Together they have created a journey of epic proportions... Lush textures and soundscapes collide with crashing beats and twisted melodies to make up this industrial tour de force. Can you sense the stink of fear?
ohGr is an extremely successful solo artist, with amazing live shows and a massive following and SKINNY PUPPY are the cult heroes of the industrial genre. With the insurgence of gothic/industrial-crossover, the time is right for the men who put this musical style on the map!
