PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF's successful construction-electro - somewhere between KRAFTWERK, DEPECHE MODE and JEAN MICHEL JARRE - continues with a new album "Baustoff (Popmusik für Rohrleger)". It features a long list of guest appearances, including André Hartung (SERO.OVERDOSE), Alexander Pitzinger (PAINBASTARD), Antje Schulz (IN STRICT CONFIDENCE) and many more!
With the EP "Dark Dance" HEIMATAERDE send a dark harbinger of the forthcoming album "Unwesen". Sinister and untamed, "Dark Dance" whirls the dervishes of the night across thick floors of electro beats and bagpipes and along massive walls of guitar.
If you're already familiar with COLLIDE, you will surely know that the duo's brave, forward-looking electronic sound is deeply grounded in a fusion of diverse influences. "These Eyes Before" is the band's fifth regular studio album release and is expected to receive a lot of attention.
Since 2004, CERVELLO ELETTRONICO has been experimenting with dance beats in front of audiences all over the world. Two years after releasing his CRUNCH POD label debut, "Negate the Instigator", comes "Process of Elimination", featuring eleven new tracks of harsh sounds, infectious rhythms, and calculated sampling that will evoke praise from the most critical of old-school industrial and electronica fans.
C/A/T are back with a vengeance. "We Are Still Alive" has a core of four songs that feature some of the most structured and melodic sounds ever to appear on a C/A/T release, upping the ante with dark, harsh and accusatory vocal work that shadows even the lyrical and vocal content from 2007's "Point Of No Return".
Screaming vocals, harsh analogue filter sweeps, distorted pulsing sines and squares - FOLKSTORM has never sounded this angry and mean! "Ortodox" is a return to the fine tradition of making entirely analogue music - no computers, no sequencers, no modern trickery. A pure celebration of classic Swedish industrial music.
The 'all-time classix' collection by INFACTED RECORDINGS has become a real success. The label now presents one of the main club hits of the global techno movement. KLANGWERK became a hit throughout the EBM/electro and techno scenes by combining the best of both worlds! "Die Kybernauten" combines all three KLANGWERK MCDs, fully re-mastered, with two bonus tracks and new artwork - limited to 1,000 copies.
After more than three years of clinical explorations, DIVINE MUZAK finally expose their newest full length studio album deconstructed in the most mature and subjective sound style ever designed by the duo. "Maison Skinny" embodies eleven organic stories full of multiple insights and subjective perspectives on the human body. Released in January 2005, "Dialogue" represents a slice of the previous three years of the DIVINE MUZAK's activity, with fourteen deep and powerful songs of acoustic reflection
"Blindness" is [SYNDIKA:ZERO]'s debut on CRUNCH POD. A limited edition split release, "Statues of Gods/Invictis Victi Victuri" features three unreleased and exclusive tracks by well known Swedish artist ARDITI and German newcomers SIGNA INFERRE, the finest offspring in the latest crop of neo-classical/martial industrial acts.
"Under The Radar Over The Top" is proving to be SCOOTER's biggest album to date, currently standing at number two in the German charts. This package has the brand new album, with the huge clubland hit "J'Adore Hardcore", plus a 40 video DVD featuring all of SCOOTER's biggest videos.
There are some quality compilations on their way - "Extreme Sündenfall 9" has over 155 minutes of electro, fetish and industrial sounds from AGONOIZE, [:SITD:], SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS, FADERHEAD, SOMAN and many others. BLACK RAIN has gone crazy with a Christmas compilation of electro and gothic tracks. Discs 2 and 3 feature names such as SIMPLE MINDS, PET SHOP BOYS, TALK TALK, ERASURE, THE HUMAN LEAGUE, DURAN DURAN and many others - making the collection look like a veritable 'who is who' of 80s music.

Review C/A/T are back with a vengeance and prove this ever-changing project has not gone anywhere since 2008's "The Great Crisis". From the opening track (a nod to "The Great Crisis") to the somber and unsettling finale - Ben Arp re-establishes C/A/T as a band to keep an attentive eye on. The meat of this EP is a core of four songs that feature some of the most structured and melodic sounds ever to appear on a C/A/T release, upping the ante with dark, harsh and accusatory vocal work that shadows even the lyrical and vocal content from 2007's "Point Of No Return". Also included is a re-working of the 2007 track "Dead To Me". Arp has stripped this track to its core and rebuilt it from the ground up into a far more melodic and aggressive track than the original. Review A limited edition split release, featuring three unreleased and exclusive tracks by each band, which serves not only to present new material by well known Swedish artist ARDITI but also to introduce German newcomers SIGNA INFERRE, the finest offspring in the latest crop of neo-classical/martial industrial acts. For "Statues of Gods", ARDITI tap into ancient Nordic traditions and incorporate them into their militaristic anthems. The characteristically oppressive soundscapes, pounding percussions and powerful orchestrations are represented in new shades, as elements of Nordic folk music shape ARDITI's pieces into slow-motion medieval dances and ceremonial tributes to times past. The three tracks on this release should not be considered an indication of the direction that the new album will follow, however, and have been gathered here exactly due to the fact that they would not really fit a typical ARDITI release. "Invictis Victi Victuri" is the first release by SIGNA INFERRE. Although the project has only recently surfaced, the maturity displayed in their pieces should quickly earn them a favorable position in the neo-classical/martial industrial scene. Leaving behind the typical insipid blending of samples lifted from classical music recordings and looped ad nauseam, SIGNA INFERRE's work develops in a fluid and continuous progression, giving birth to fully accomplished epic scores brimming with martial beauty. Review An absolutely amazing, MUST HAVE release! BLANK & JONES present: "So80s", a deluxe 3CD box set. The first disc contains a selection of tracks that were exclusively mixed by the pair for this release, including non-stop mixes of songs by legendary bands like YAZOO, DEPECHE MODE, O.M.D. and ULTRAVOX. However, this not simply some kind of 'mega-mix'. BLANK & JONES have been extremely respectful to the music of their chosen bands, and have stayed close to the original recordings, taking great care to produce a result that is in harmony with them. Discs 2 and 3 feature names such as SIMPLE MINDS, PET SHOP BOYS, TALK TALK, ERASURE, THE HUMAN LEAGUE, DURAN DURAN and many others - making the collection look like a veritable 'who is who' of 80s music. Review Despite picking up plays from John Peel soon after setting up as a four-piece in 1983, KAJAGOOGOO (then ART NOUVEAU) decided they needed a new lead singer and advertised in Melody Maker for "a good looking, talented singer/songwriter/frontman, looking for musicians to form what should be a successful band, influences: Japan, Yazoo, Soft Cell..... no Des O' Connor fans". Chris Hamill (aka LIMAHL) answered the call and one of the most popular pop acts of the 80s was complete, going on to amass seven Top 40 singles, including the 1983 No. 1 smash hit "Too Shy". Fast-forwarding to 2003, the group's appearance on VH1's Bands Reunited inspired them to reform properly and they have recent completed a UK 'comeback' tour during September/October of this year. Coinciding with this tour comes the release of "Too Shy: The Best Of Kajagoogoo and Limahl", a collection of their all their greatest hits, featuring two brand new tracks and a bonus DVD with all their videos (including one for their new track "Space Cadet") and a 'Top of the Pops' performance of "Too Shy". Review Describing hANGRY&ANGRY is quite hard considering the fact that there are so many unique aspects which make this artistic duo so exceptional. The idea was developed by the illustrator Gashicon who created the first drawings, inspired by the 'Gurokawa' style - a mix of grotesque and sweet features. These drawings were taken up by the cult fashion designer H. NAOTO, who devised the musical project hANGRY&ANGRY. Rika Ishikawa and Hitomi Yoshizawa, former members of MORNING MUSUME, embody the two characters. Despite the fact that a large part of their appeal is connected to their fashion-based image, hANGRY&ANGRY put a lot of hard work into their music and live performance to gain a perfect balance between being fashion icons and credible artists. MORNING MUSUME quickly became a phenomenon in Japan - just four days after the launch of the official Japanese MySpace page, the site had received more than 100,000 visitors! But who can blame them?! SAUDADE is the unusual and raw project of Todd Durrant (founder of ADD) which reaches deep into musical influences of the new wave 80s to present very personal thoughts and reflections. After all, most of us struggle on the road to perfection and our weaknesses only become more apparent the closer we may come to the goal. Review This highly limited deluxe digipak with 16 full colour pages was released some time ago, and is now sold out/deleted in Germany. However, we are now finally able to get hold of a limited number of copies. Not many bands succeed in permanently increasing their abilities during their musical career, and in so doing manage to present another masterpiece to their growing fan community in which this development can be heard or even felt in every single note. Right on time for their ten year anniversary, "Apathology" is the band's seventh release. And what an album that is... "Apathology" - another self created wordplay meaning the 'science of apathy' - is an at times a very unusual concept album. Made for the darker days of the waning year, it leads the listener into an almost tangible but still surreal and sometimes unsettling world of nearly oppressive beauty. You can hear the ten months of studio work in every note - quite an exceptionally long time to spend recording, although not particularly so for SCREAM SILENCE. They celebrate an almost matchless dense, dreary atmosphere with an until now scarcely-heard complexity and with foremost variety. Every single song is unique and doesn't resemble any of the others not even the least. The fragile guitar lines, especially at the slower pieces like "Downfallen" and the depressive "The Antagonist" seem to dance with Fieting's keyboard and string arrangements. Almost playfully they develop into hammering walls of sound when SCREAM SILENCE interpret in their own typical way the fastest song in band history "Their Bleakest Sun", the catchy "Killing Essay" and the potential hit "Counterfeit". With unusual songs like the psychotic opener "The Faint", the oppressive "Apathy", the exceedingly dreary "Athanasia" or the inimitable hymn "This Is What We Left Behind" the band prove their impressive musical bandwidth that only repeated listening fully reveals. The closing nine-minute "Euphoria" describes in sheer unbelievable lethargy the phenomenal very last moment of life. Review THEATRES DES VAMPIRES were among the first bands with a sound that would later be called 'Vampiric Metal'. Their horror and gothic attitude was associated with an almost maniacal search for everything connected to vampirism... Their coherent image, the themes and atmospheres, resulted in a real cult being born among their fans, a sort of religion, that made them follow the band everywhere and create many fan clubs all over the world. During the years their sound, which at first was strongly influenced by symphonic black metal, has evolved into something that rarely quite different to the music of other metal bands, mixing different influences from gothic, electronic and classical music, opera and rock. In only a few years, THEATRES DES VAMPIRES have created a personal style characterized by songs that are melancholic and crepuscular, yet always powerful and catchy, where male and female vocals melt together as if in some kind of sepulchral wedding. However, since 2004, female vocalist Sonya Scarlet has fronted the band alone: now she no longer has a secondary vocal role anymore and can show her talent. Review HERRSCHAFT came into existence at the end of the year 2004, from the dark thoughts of singer and lyricist M.X., to whom suddenly appeared the consciousness of the disastrous doom that is bound to humanity. From this mysterious revelation he embarked upon a mass recruitment plan that would result in him meeting his soldiers, firstly MaX (electro and live drums), then Zoé (guitars and sound engineering). Despite the fact that the three did not get on terribly well, they were driven by a common passion for anthropological research into mankind's future, and thus agreed to form a band that would explore both faces of our world, at once grand and desecrated. After a preliminary work of documentation and composition, HERRSCHAFT started practising live, and during summer of 2005 began the recording sessions for their first effort "Architects of the Humanicide". The Arrival of MaT as a second guitarist, at the end of the year did not help the stressful ambiance but did enable the band to make several chaotic live appearances in France during 2006. As Zoé explained after one of these tormented gigs: "We are not in control anymore". However, the EP certainly awoke the interest of Italian label Code 666, assuring a well-deserved worldwide distribution to the masses, and providing the band with a new opportunity to deliver their apocalyptical message, in the form of a deal for an hypothetical future album. The band's notoriety grew as the internal relationships rotted. But as MX himself says, "the breed of this bad temper is the only thing that makes the band go forward". And as the years 2006 and 2007 became more and more unliveable, the time came to concentrate fully on the creation of the new opus. After a difficult, messy and mutual work of two years, even changing their band names in the way that foul kings attribute themselves false titles, M[z]X, Zo3, Xew and MaT present the result of their endeavours: a new album under the name of "Tesla".
