Dutch masters GRENDEL are real innovators within the dark electronic scene and have delivered countless club hits on a number of highly successful albums and EPs. With "Chemicals + Circuitry" GRENDEL intend to appease their fans' longing for a new studio-album with highly infective club hits! The two title songs "Chemicals + Circuitry" and "Shortwired", as well as countless remixes ensure that this EP will become an integral part of DJ Sets around the world!
VELVET ACID CHRIST returns with his next auditory assault. With "The Art of Breaking Apart", his first new studio album in over three years, Bryan Erickson has taken a huge leap. Fans will notice signature tracks, such as "Tripped Out", "Vaporized" and "Phucked Up Phreak", yet many of the songs are quite different to what one might expect. Not only does the album feature acoustic guitar, but also untreated vocals as well (imagine DEATH IN JUNE meets THE CURE with electronic elements).
THE PRODIGY's "Invaders Must Die" is the UK's sixth biggest selling album of 2009 and the biggest independent album to date. Now the album is being released as this special edition, with an audio CD containing lots of extras, plus a bonus DVD with videoclips for all the singles and live footage as well.
ZOMBIE GIRL celebrate their comeback on Halloween. Underworld prophetess Renee Cooper and studio guru Sebastian Komor strike again with the new exciting "Halloween EP". The new release jumps straight into it with a harsh, brutal and almost blasphemous industrial re-interpretation of John Carpenter's legendary tune, and is reinforced by upbeat club remixes of their countless hits.
LEAETHER STRIP's "Yes, I'm Limited" tradition enters into its 5th chapter! Especially compiled for all the band's hardcore fans is this diversified collection of some 27 exclusive rarities. A splendid double CD fan box which LEAETHER STRIP kick off with nine early demo songs from the 80s - Claus Larsen's first works ever! Add to this some previously unreleased studio recordings of songs he has been playing live this year. We also get the special live intros he wrote for his shows in Cologne and Gothenburg and a total of nine new and unreleased tracks. As if this were not enough, Claus Larsen also reveals a bunch of collaborations and remix work by bands like DIE KRUPPS, PROJECT PITCHFORK, and AUTODAFEH. Finally, this special limited box also includes the FREE 17-track exclusive label compilation "Sounds from the Matrix 009".
While their eighth studio album "Implantology" is still red hot the Belgian project IMPLANT catches us by surprise with a new 12-track EP! Featuring over 55 minutes of pure dancefloor electronic mishmash, all centred on the title track "Violence". It's an exploding collaboration between Len Lemeire and ANGELSPIT's female singer Destroyx, which has received the remix treatment and includes three more unreleased and exclusive new songs.
Part 6 in the highly successful 'Classixxx' series on INFACTED, and the second release dedicated to X MARKS THE PEDWALK! "Cenotaph" was originally a three-track 12" single in 1991. This release contains a large amount of bonus material for a total of 17 tracks, including "Seclusion" from the 1992 MCD version, four tracks from the MCD "Paranoid Illusions" (1992), three tracks from the MCD "The Trap" (1992) and two tracks from the "Air Back Trax" album (1994). There are also four all-exclusive live tracks.
After celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2008 with the release of their much praised live DVD/2CD "The Anatomy Of Melancholy", PARADISE LOST now return with the brand new studio album "Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us". The title of this release hints at the stark musical twists and turns on the album. Since their conception in 1988, PARADISE LOST have not only founded the genre gothic metal with 1991's "Gothic", but also diligently defined and daringly transcended it. The deluxe edition comes with a bonus CD that includes orchestral arrangements of two of the album tracks.
LIQUID DIVINE return with their third album to date - "Autophobia". Musicwise, they combine influences as diverse such as TANGERINE DREAM, HAUJOBB, NEW ORDER and KRAFTWERK, in a show of stunning variety. Atmosphere, trance and ambience combined with intelligent dance beats make LIQUID DIVINE quite unique.
German label HANDS have been very busy lately, with a host of releases in the pipeline. GREYHOUND's fourth album, "Tactical Evolution", features 26 intense, powerful rhythm'n'noise tracks for industrial clubs worldwide. The "Mortusae" double album is an epic release from EMPUSAE, including new, rare and long-deleted tracks. HEIMSTATT YIPOTASH's third album, "Urban Night Motifs", is a genius mixture of both danceable electro industrial and electronica-influenced noise-based sound research. LAST DAYS OF S.E.X.'s second album "Great Irony and the Politically S.E.X.plosive" produces harsh and complex passages while kicking beats deliver an experience between agitation, provocation and irony. The fifth album by the US industrial drum'n'bass act SCRAP.EDX "Merciless Protraction" consists of industrial drum'n'bass, breakcore, rhythmic noise, dark ambient and IDM production styles. "Redefining the Paradigm of Bang" is the best description for this 100% club-compatible techno-industrial from 13TH MONKEY - expect 68 minutes of bass-driven and pounding tech-industrial tracks with distorted and screaming acid-like 303 sounds as extra ingredients.
GENEVIÉVE PASQUIER's new album "Le Cabaret Moi" delivers elegant electronic pulses dominated by the persuasive/icy quality of her vulnerable and adorable voice. The music's scope ranges from subtle, slow-moving ambience, electro noise tunes and beautiful atmospheric lounge cabaret, through to insistent electroid beats and finally into a furious rapid interpretation of THE NORMAL's "Warm Leatherette". The special edition of the album comes with an oversized 22-page booklet and there's T-shirts too!
"Regen aus Asche" is the dynamic, hard, and uncompromising, but still danceable and melodic new album from EUROCIDE. Pounding and driving beats are combined with profound lyrics taken from old prophecies about Europe's near future.
25 years ago, a virtually unknown band caused more controversy and discord with their debut single than any other infamous band before them. FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD burst onto the music scene and became a pheonomena that no-one has matched since. The follow-up "Two Tribes" pushed the boundaries even further. "Frankie Say Greatest" is the greatest of 'Greatest Hits' packages, including the most popular remixes and re-workings of classic tracks. The double CD package includes rare B-sides.
THE PSYCHOGEOGRAPHICAL COMMISSION is a post-industrial neofolk/dark ambient band based in the UK. "Genius Loci" attempts to explore further the Psychogeographical nature of our built environment. The album was originally released as a CDR at the beginning of 2009, but sold out due to overwhelmingly positive reviews. For fans of COIL and NURSE WITH WOUND.
ANDROID LUST have two re-issues forthcoming. "Resolution" (1997) is an album that is lush, richly textured, and revels in the sonic expressions of the beauty in decay. Dark, sensual, and twisted around a spike of elegant fury. "Evolution" is the long out-of-print remix companion to "Resolution". Originally released in 1998, it featured four new tracks, seven remixes and a cover version BAUHAUS' "Slice of Life".
Charity Release
The exclusive double CD compilation "Help Can't Wait" is a collaborative charity project between Elektrofront Erzgebirge, BLACK RAIN and Promofabrik. All profits from this compilation will be used to fund projects of the Peniel Social Institute in India, which takes care of poor and orphaned children in the poorest region of the country. This compilation unites great artists like LEAETHER STRIP, DIE KRUPPS, JÄGER 90, SOMAN, A SPELL INSIDE, WYNARDTAGE, PROJECT PITCHFORK and many more. All bands themselves declared that charity is the only thing that counts in this project - so buying this CD is a direct donation to PENIEL SOCIAL INSTITUTE! Limited to 1000 copies. Please note MNS is not taking a profit on this release either.

ACCESSION has informed us of delays to some of their new releases. ASSEMBLAGE 23's Compass / Compass [Deluxe] and SITD's Rot / Rot [Deluxe] have all been put back by a week to 23rd and 30th October, respectively.

Review After celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2008 with the release of their much praised live DVD/2CD "The Anatomy Of Melancholy", as well as exclusive live shows with ANATHEMA and MY DYING BRIDE to promote this release, PARADISE LOST now return with the highly anticipated follow-up to 2007's "In Requiem": the brand new studio album "Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us". "In Requiem" owed a lot of its phenomenal success to its increased heaviness and the band's unique feel for gloomy melodies. The album was hailed by critics as the PL's most metallic effort since the classic albums "Icon" (1993) and huge-selling "Draconian Times" (1995), but the brand-new opus "Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us strikes an even darker path! For the first time in the band's history, guitarists Greg Mackintosh and Aaron Aedy have used 7-string guitars, recorded with Jens Bogren (KATATONIA, OPETH) at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden. The title of this release, which contrasts the spiritual term 'faith' with the bitter reality of 'death', hints at the stark musical twists and turns on the album. From the foreboding mid-tempo crunch of "As Horizons End" over the drivingly heavy "I Remain" to the schizophrenic "Frailty" and the majestic title track, the album is characterised by a clash of seething rage, symbolised through Nick Holmes' gruffer vocals, but also by melancholic despair, evoked through the captivating guitar play of Greg Mackintosh. The song "Rise Of Denial" is easily the most aggressive track the band has written in years, the riffs in "Living With Scars" even have a certain old school death metal edge to them, yet PARADISE LOST never fail to add enough of their unbelievably skilled sense for accessibility and effective songwriting. The epic anthem "Last Regret" for instance is destined to become a new live sing-a-long. Review THE PSYCHOGEOGRAPHICAL COMMISSION is a post-industrial neofolk/dark ambient band based between Glasgow and Newcastle in the UK. The Commission was formed at the start of 2008, by S.: (real-world instruments and vocals) and Hokano (unreal instruments), to explore the many interfaces between the built environment and the people who inhabit it through dérive, magick and sonic experimentation. After a great deal of time wandering the back streets of London and other large cities looking for the spirits which now dwell within them, they came to the conclusion that the psychological make-up of cities is now at odds with the population's inherent rural based mythology. People aren't evolving to cope with cities fast enough to keep up with the constantly shifting cityscape. To start approaching a remedy for this they set about creating music which blurs the line between the real and imagined landscapes in order to allow individuals to revaluate their own mythologies and provide new ideas to bring them closer to harmony with their urban surroundings. Named after the Roman mythological 'Spirit of the Place', the album ("Genius Loci") attempts to explore further the Psychogeographical nature of our built environment and is therefore written to be played whilst interacting with a city. The album was originally released as a CDR at the beginning of 2009 but sold out due to overwhelmingly positive reviews. It has now been re-mastered, re-packaged and glass-mastered and is presented in a slimline DVD-sized box. Review M.O.S. is the Liechtenstein-based label that first discovered and launched bands such as L'AME IMMORTELLE, DIE VERBANNTEN KINDER EVAS, WELTENBRAND, ICE AGES and WHISPERS IN THE SHADOW. It is the only label based in the tiny principality on the Swiss/Austrian border, and was founded by Oliver Falk, who is also the mastermind behind ERBEN DER SCHÖPFUNG ('Heirs of Creation'). After their successful debut "Twilight" released in 2001 (on NAPALM Records), which caused a big sensation amongst the goth audience, the project has slowly evolved over the years from pure gothic into a dark electro band, without being afraid to infuse the music with some heavy guitar sounds. Musically speaking, the all new album "Narben der Zeit" ('Scars of Time') sounds harder and faster than the debut. Electronic beats are dashed with metal drums and quite an impressive wall of guitars. As with the previous album, the lead vocals are range between clear, heavenly female vocals and more distorted spoken parts. Review Entitled "Jack Davey", this five-track recording was completed at the end of September 2008 in Hillside Studios with famed producer Matt Hills (WOLF & CUB), and was the first release since Brillig's reinvention as a four-piece acoustic act. The EP was a long time coming for the band, whose previous work ("Mirror on the Wall" LP, 2007) represented an entirely different style. "Jack Davey" showcases their strongest songwriting to date, with an unmistakable theme of loss and longing. But proving that "all that's dark is not dreary", the EP is full of enchanting melodies and sweet harmonies which manage to create a strangely uplifting and dreamily romantic atmosphere. But even their most hardcore fans are not aware of the first real Totem release: a cassette-only album called "Mumia Vera", originally released in 1992. Review After a three year absence, Bristol's hottest underground export in heart-wrenching electronic pop is back. MESH, the duo of Mark Hockings and Rich Silverthorn, return with "A Perfect Solution", possibly the most mature, mutable and yet toughest album of their career. While no one doubts Mark Hocking's status as an exceptional vocalist, a complete listen to this album also serves to highlight the band's songwriting and arrangement skills. Once pegged as a purely retro synth act, MESH have mutated into a true live band, and the resulting versatility in the arrangements transforms what might have merely been eleven good songs into absolutely outstanding ones. Thematically, "A Perfect Solution" is a bit darker than previous releases. The tone of the album is typified by "If We Stay Here", a tale of broken relationships between people who once loved each other, but who now just exist in the same space. The massive housing facade pictured on the cover further symbolizes the painful dramas that take place behind its windows. The wires running throughout the artwork are both safety lines and shackles - anything but "A Perfect Solution". Were the album musically as dismal and hopeless as it is lyrically, "A Perfect Solution" might be too much to handle, but luckily MESH know how to strike the delicate balance between bitter and sweet. Four years after the release of "Rosenrot", their last studio outing, Germany's most successful rock act have announced the release of a brand new studio album, "Liebe Ist für Alle Da". Since starting out 15 years ago, RAMMSTEIN have built a reputation as a controversial, no-compromise, and hugely entertaining band, with a fiercely loyal and genuinely international following. Today, they stand head and shoulders above the competition as the greatest (musical) showmen on earth, with an incendiary stage performance that generally results in tickets for their concerts selling out in minutes.
