Judging by monolithic new single "Kingdom" - a mass of brooding, intense vocals and strobeing synth darkness - Dave Gahan sets his stall out for new album "Hourglass" : Apparently an altogether more electronic affair than his 2003 solo-debut "Paper Monsters" it hits eager fans of the iconic Depeche Mode front man on 22nd October.
Lead single "Kingdom" comes presented in three different formats including a 2 track single plus Limited Remix Maxi and Picture vinyl while the album "Hourglass" is presented as a 'Limited Edition' standard CD ( basically a Digipak version that will revert to a jewel case once sold-out ) alongside a Limited Deluxe Edition including a Bonus 45 minute DVD featuring a short film, video, studio sessions and much more...
Please note that there will also be a 12" Vinyl version of "Kingdom" plus a special LP Vinyl + CD version of "Hourglass". Full details on these versions to follow soon...
