HAPPY NEW YEAR from MUSIC NON STOP
Well here we are again, another year over. Jo and I would like to wish all customers a very Happy New Year and hope that 2012 brings you all success and happiness.
Once again, many thanks to everyone who voted for/'Liked' Music Non Stop as 'Best E-Shop' in the Side-Line Music Awards 2011. We came a comfortable second this year to AMAZON, but as we really don't think AMAZON counts as a 'scene' retailer for goth and industrial music, any more than Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga should be allowed to be voted for as best artist, then we're taking this as a moral victory. Hopefully, the people at Side-Line can use some common sense next time and set some proper rules for each category, as well as getting a decent voting system!
Moving on, this newsletter again covers no new releases, but instead looks back at the Top 30 sellers at Music Non Stop during 2011 - excluding gig tickets. We have combined formats for releases where more than one format exists (*). Some of these releases have been selling for many more months during 2011 than others, so the actual sales/positions may well be different in future.

It comes as no surprise that the new albums from VNV NATION and COVENANT, plus releases from DEPECHE MODE and MESH, are at the top of the chart, but THE MARCH VIOLETS first release in years may be a surprise. As Jo is their bassist, and MNS was the main seller of the release world-wide, this may explain it!
It was also nice to see smaller UK acts DEVIANT UK and SKINJOB put in credible performances too, amongst the usual big-name bands, and newcomer TERROLOKAUST make the chart.
Many thanks for your custom and support during 2011, a year where the sales of CDs dropped massively. We work very hard to maintain a quality site and provide excellent customer service, so we hope that you will stick with us in 2012.
